Promoting green travel and protecting the planet, Cathay Hospitality Management (CHM) announced in observance of World Environment Day (June 5) that, starting July 1, 2023, all COZZI Hotels and Madison Taipei Hotel locations across Taiwan will no longer automatically provide single-use amenities in guest rooms.
Bath products such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash will be replaced with refillable large bottles. Single-use personal hygiene items, including razors, combs, shower caps, toothbrushes, and toothpaste, will also not be provided automatically. Guests who require these items during their stay may request them at the front desk.
CHM encourages travelers to bring their own personal items during their stay, reducing environmental impact and supporting sustainable travel through conscious actions while enjoying their vacation.
