Creating Sustainable Impact - Fulfilling Corporate Commitments

CHM places "sustainability" at the core of its development goals, delivering exceptional dining and hospitality services while embodying corporate social responsibility through the "Care Your Stay" initiative. In 2023, CHM established the Corporate Sustainability Committee to integrate sustainability strategies across its headquarters and hotels, with the ultimate goal of achieving global net-zero emissions by 2050. Its efforts are also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 17).

In its commitment to environmental protection, CHM began eliminating single-use amenities in 2023, encouraging travelers to embrace green tourism and championing environmental protection and sustainability.

On March22, CHM's properties, including HOTEL COZZI, MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL and Courtyard by Marriott Taipei Downtown participated in the global Earth Hour event, turning off their lights for one hour. This initiative reflects CHM's dedication to corporate citizenship and its commitment to supporting international environmental conservation efforts.

Giving Back to Society – Asset Donations Supporting Rural Communities - Caring for Children and Disadvantaged Families

CHM has a long-standing commitment to social welfare, actively contributing to communities through its hospitality initiatives. These efforts include donating mooncakes to underprivileged groups, sponsoring hotel stays for children from rural elementary schools, and inviting children from orphanages to celebrate Children's Day at its hotels. Such initiatives highlight CHM's dedication to corporate social responsibility and commitment to corporate social responsibility.In 2024, CHM expanded its social impact by donating 90 LCD TVs, 100 Bluetooth speakers and various home appliances to bring warmth to those in need. The recipients were carefully chosen: Padan Tribe Junior and Elementary School(高雄市巴楠花部落中小學) in Kaohsiung, a school that incorporates SDGs cultural sustainability into its curriculum. CHM also made an on-site visit to the campus to learn about Bunun culture, further demonstrating its support for indigenous talent cultivation and the school's commitment to sustainable development.

CHM is committed to reducing its carbon footprint by prioritizing local ingredients and promoting green procurement practices.HOTEL COZZI Blu were honored with the Green Procurement Excellence Award by the Environmental Protection Administration of Taiwan in 2022. They also partnered with TESLA on an electric vehicle accommodation project, enabling guests to travel sustainably, reduce carbon emissions and contribute to environmental conservation during their stays. Furthermore, Courtyard by Marriott Taipei Downtown is the only hotel in Taiwan to hold both U.S. LEED and Taiwan EEWH green building certifications, encouraging guests to embrace eco-conscious travel at the forefront of sustainability.
